Baby Health

By Kidglue Team on October 7th, 2008

Ask any parent if they want a healthy baby and the unanimous total response will be of course. Health is always a concern of any parent but it’s bigger when you have a new baby.
It can all start off with the feedings, and how to hold your baby right.
A healthy and happy baby automatically makes a happy and healthy parent.
When first bringing home your new baby there are many cares and concerns. Am I doing this right? Is my baby happy? How can I be sure that this is okay for my baby?
What you have to always put first is that your baby is their own person. No baby is the same, there are an individual from day one. This may mean that they develop slower or faster than some other babies. There are guidelines but they are just there to help you and aren’t set in stone rules there just suggestions, to help if you’re not sure of what your doing.

There are a lot of housekeeping things that have to be done to keep a healthy baby.
Bathing is an essential to keeping and happy and healthy germ free baby.
Newer babies of course can’t tell you if the water too hot or if the soap is irritating them this is all up to your to determine. Usually a baby gets a bath at least once a day, usually before bed as a bedtime routine to help them sleep better.

Sleep always makes for a healthy baby too. Babies sleep patterns may vary but sleeping 8-10 hours is good for newer babies. Sleep patterns are determined by the parents, even though your baby may want to be a night owl, you can decide when you’re tired and just try to get the baby in the bed to.

Though many parents dread this, shots are essential to healthy babies too. But making sure that your baby is properly immunized is one of the best things that you can do for your baby. Children by the age of 2 get 80 percent of their shots. So this means keeping your baby immunized keeps your baby healthy and going with you.

Growing babies need lots of food also. While your baby is developing they need to be fed a normal meal frequently. There is nothing that really says how much you should feed your baby. But many pediatricians say you should feed your baby as much as they’ll eat. When feeding your baby though you still must take into consideration again that your baby is an individual. Your baby might not eat like your sister baby is eating and can still be

We know there are a lot of suggestions; people who want to tell you how to raise your baby. Sometimes this can be helpful but when raising a healthy baby you have to trial and error. You’re going to make mistakes but as long as you aren’t harming your baby, remember there a person too.

I have had quite a few discussion with other people about the openly aggressive and offensive attitude of women and I too wonder if women are actually conscious of making automatic nasty anti-male comments without even bothering to take in account the affect on the listener. I was always of the opinion that women are not capable of feeling or showing any empathy towards males at all.
