Christmas parties are everywhere it seems…school, work, clubs, friends, family, you name it! There is nothing better to take than cute cupcakes, making you the talk of the party. Cupcakes are made in a variety of flavors, colors and decorations.
Here are some examples of some easy cupcakes you can make at home to share with friends and family at the next party or get-together.
These Edible Ornament Cupcakes are so easy and oh-so-cute. The cake can be any flavor you would like, frost and then decorate. These would be a lot of fun to do with the kids to let them use their imaginations and be proud of helping with a yummy treat. Use colored frosting, candy and sprinkles to make your ornaments unique. Place a miniature Reeses Peanut Butter Cup on top with a pretzel piece for the hook.
The Best-Dressed Snowman Cupcakes are easy to make and will make you look like a professional baker, even if you are a novice. To make these cupcakes, simply bake cupcakes like normal and place a frosted cookie on top as the head. The scarf is a gum drop that has been rolled flat and the hat is a black gum drop cut in half.
If you need something for an older crowd that you want to look elegant and festive, try these Christmas Tree Cupcakes. The cupcake is actually baked in a waffle cone, then turned upside down and placed on top of a cupcake. The cone-shaped cake is covered with stars of frosting to give the appearance of a Christmas tree.
