A wreath is a staple of many people’s Christmas decorations. If you want to try your hand at making your own wreath, something personal to you and your family, it is much easier than it looks. There are many different types of wreaths you can make at home, for a fraction of the cost of one at the store or boutique!
My favorite is the Ribbon Wreath. I will be making a few of these up to give as gifts for family and teachers. These are so simple and can be made to go with any decor. Simply tie wire ribbon onto a wire ring and your done! If you can tie your shoes you can make this gorgeous wreath. I am going to try this with different colors and maybe even make some for the spring, summer or whatever.
A gorgeous fresh foliage wreath can be made by using a bent wire coat hanger. Simply bend two coat hangers into a circle and cover with floral tape. Attach fresh foliage with thin floral wire. Add a pretty bow to cover the hanger and you are set. It is a gorgeous wreath to add to your home. You can use different type of leaves, blooms or anything else you would like to personalize to your taste.
The Simply Elegant Holiday Wreath would be a gorgeous addition to any home. In order to make one of these wreaths, you will need to cover a pine wreath with branch picks and add in your pick of wire ribbon bows, bulb picks or any other adornment you would like to add. These wreaths may be as simple or extravagant as you would like. Add as much or as little glitter and sparkles as you would like.
Wreaths can be made in a number of ways, some easier than other, but the outcome is almost always gorgeous. Wreaths add flare to your home and welcome guests when hung on the front door. This year, take a little a time, save a little and try your hand at your own wreaths. Make some up for gifts and watch the immediate smiles on faces when they see how gorgeous the homemade wreath is.
