leapfrog-fridge-phonicsLeapFrog Fridge Phonics is a set of alphabet magnets that take the old school fridge magnets to a whole new level.  LeapFrog has made these magnets child-friendly by making each letter big, bright and easy to hold.  When each letter is placed into the base, a letter name, sound or song will play.  Personally, this is one of my favorite toys for the kids.  All of my kids play with our set, from two to eight years old.  When my one-year-old niece comes to visit, she carries the letters around with her and loves to make them stick to our refrigerator.  When I have given my kids sets of regular fridge letter magnets, they get lost easily and don’t seem to last long in our home.  This set has stood very well and is used on a daily basis.

Stats:

What others are saying about LeapFrog Fridge Phonics:

“Nobody goes hungry for learning with this set of 26 colorful, easy-grip magnetic letters and magnetic letter reader that attaches securely to your fridge. Each letter talks, sings and teaches letter names, letter sounds and learning songs. Put a letter into the reader to hear its name, its sound or a fun phonics song.” by LeapFrog

He absolutely loves to play with this toy pretty much anytime that he is in the kitchen (which is often). I like it because it occupies him while I am in the kitchen doing whatever I need to get done (cook, clean, talk on the phone, etc). He plays with this set of letters a lot more than the other set we have (the braille version from Playskool). Plus, the magnets on these are stronger than those on our plastic magnetic letters (which seem like they spend more time on the floor then on the fridge, somedays).” by customer review at Epinions.com

This is one of the best toys I have ever purchased for my kids.  We put it on the refrigerator when my oldest was 2, and it has been there ever since.  Both kids (now 5 and 2) know their letters perfectly, and they sing the Leapfrog song that goes with the letters!  I highly recommend this product.” by customer review at Viewpoints
