As the mother of multiple children that suffered from constant ear infections and gas problems, I would have loved to have a Nap Nanny for my children to sleep on.  I would love to have a Nap Nanny to sleep on because it looks so comfortable.

So what is a Nap Nanny and what will it do?

The Nap Nanny was designed by a mother, Leslie, after her child had difficulty sleeping.  It is a sleeping device made of  polyurethane foam that elevates an infant to a 30 degree angle.  After trying to use a wedge to keep her infant at an angle while sleeping and seeing her baby slip and slide all over the place, Leslie created this unique sleeping aid.  It assists babies that have problems with acid reflux, ear infections, colds and congestion along with gas problems.  Keeping the baby at an angle allows for infants with these issues to sleep more comfortably.  Anyone with an infant knows, when the baby doesn’t sleep, no one in the house sleeps.  Anything that can be done to make a baby sleep better is appreciated by all.

What else makes the Nap Nanny so incredibly awesome?  It has a water-proof liner, so spit up will wipe right off!  I would have LOVED this when my daughter was a baby and threw up constantly!  I was always having to change her sheets and blankets of her crib, playpen or anywhere else she was.

Stats:

Created for infants weighing 8 pounds and up

Dimensions: 32 inches long x 17.5 inches wide x 10 inches tall

Weight: 3 pounds

Even if your child doesn’t have these problems, the Nap Nanny is a great thing to keep around the house.  Babies constantly get colds or stuffy noses, which keep them from being able to sleep well.  Although it is not cheap, the Nap Nanny can be ordered through their website for $129.99.  Can you put a price on your sleep though?  When my babies were up screaming all night with their ear infections I would have paid anything I could to get a good night sleep!  Kudos to Leslie for helping infants and mothers of infants sleep!

I let my baby sleep in his car seat when he is sick. It does that same thing and I don’t have yet another baby gadget that I spent 100 bucks on.
