What kid doesn’t love a remote controlled car?  Tonka has given toddlers the ability to jump in on the fun.  The Tonka Bounce Back Racer is designed to be easy for toddlers to control.  Are you worried about your walls getting scuffed up?  No need to be!  Tonka has created the Bounce Back Racer with a soft body and over-sized rubber wheels, so it can be slammed into walls, feet,  brothers and sisters and won’t hurt or damage  anyone or anything.  My son thinks this is the greatest thing ever invented and can play with it until the batteries wear out.  When the cars run into something, they have the ability to flip over and reveal a different colored car.

Stats:

Recommended for ages 3 and up

Requires 9 Volt Battery and 6 “AA” Batteries (not included)

What others are saying about the Tonka Bounce Back Racer:

“I will probably give this toy away to some deserving little boy, or maybe a girl who’s more vehicularly inclined. But as for my kids — and I swear I didn’t make them this way — it appears that girls will be girls. And Tonka’s motto these days? “Built for boyhood.” by Parenting Squad.

“My son got this for his 4th birthday. He loves it. I love it for the fact that it is a quite RC car. He has other RC cars and they are very loud. I really like the rubber wheels. The car can crash into furniture, walls, etc.. and it won’t hurt a thing. My Daughter who is 6 really enjoys playing with it. You get two cars in one. I have seen it cheaper at other stores. Make sure to price shop.” by customer review at Amazon.com.

“My kids love this and it works great. My four year old is able to work it with no problems. The only bad thing I have found is that it is a pain to replace the batteries since you have to unscrew three compartments. Other than that it has worked great for us.” by customer review at Toys “R” Us.

sounds nice. too many remote control cars are too flashy, too loud, or too easily broken. this sounds like the perfect solution to my young son's needs thank you kidglue!

I too think that it is a great toy if I didn't have to return it once already because it would drive over anything and would come to a complete stop at any wall. Upon bringing home the second car it drove all over the house for hours that evening. It is great fun for 3 year old as they love to crash cars. It has though stopped working and will start on a whim. I will have to return it again and am torn as to what to do. Will I exchange it or will I not. There are so many other reveiws that so they too have had a ton of problems with this toy. I will be breaking my son's heart if I return it for something else.

I took back my son's car for another in a different frequency and it worked great. I am glad I did as it has been the most played with toy since his birtday. My 10 month old little girl enjoys it also. Sorry to the other people who have had a bad time with it. It was worth the extra trip to the store.
