KidGlue Review: Snugglette
If you haven’t seen the commericals for the Snuggie, boy are you missing out. The Snuggie is a sleeved blanket that allows you to have your hands free, while still keeping warm. They have now introduced a child-sized version of the blanket, called the Snugglette. Unlike the original Snuggie, the Snugglette is available in blue and pink. The Snugglette is a great way for little ones to stay warm while they are playing video games or watching television and eating snacks.
Stats:
- Made of “super soft, thick, luxurious fleece“
- Price: $19.95 plus shipping and handling ($7.95)
What others are saying about the Snugglette:
“Now you can keep the whole family warm with Snugglette™, a smaller size Snuggie™ with smaller arms so that kids can stay warm and do what they want to do! Snugglette™ is made with super soft, thick, luxurious fleece with roomy, oversized sleeves that let kids do what they want while still being totally wrapped in warmth.” from Snugglette.
“Move over Snuggie…here comes the Snugglette, the blanket with sleeves designed to keep the kids as snug as a bug in a rug. A smaller version of the original uber-popular Snuggie, this mini Snugglette is the perfect snuggle partner for the little ones.” from Amazing Products.
“The smaller Snuggie lets kids keep their hands free while staying cozy. I thought it was great for adults, but it’s even better for kids — who are always on the go. My nephew loves it for playing videogames and my niece loves it for drawing. And they both love it because it keeps their hands free for movie snacking. I think my nephew said it best when he said, “it’s like a walking blanket!” by JennyReviews.com.
“Emily loves her Snuggie so much, she gives it an A, which has apparently wedged into her cranium. Fortunately she suffers no ill-effects, thanks to the warm and cozy powers of her Red Snuggie.” by Snuggie Sightings.

I like how the original Wikipedia entry described the snuggies as a backwards robe. Pretty accurate.
