I have found the neatest set of toddler cutlery, called Constructive Eating.  The set has a bulldozer pusher, forklift fork and front loader spoon.  You can even purchase a special construction plate that has lots of little places to use your special fork and spoon.

When I ran across the website my 2-year-old son was sitting next to me.  He jumped on my lap and started telling me that he wanted it.  I think it would really help his little semi-uncoordinated hands to get food onto the fork.  If your dinner time is anything like mine, you watch your toddler picking up food with his hands and putting on the fork or spoon before eating it.  It drives me crazy, but I know that is almost the only way he can get them correctly onto the fork or spoon.  This set looks like it would help.  I love the bulldozer pusher, this would be awesome to get the food onto the fork without using his hands.

But you are thinking, ” I have a girl, I don’t think she’ll want these!”  Boy are you wrong!  They have the set available in yellow and pink!  I think most any toddler girl would love a pink set, I know mine would have. The fork and spoon each measure 5.75 inches long and the pusher is approximately 4.25 inches long.  This size is perfect for a toddlers hands and is sure to keep them interested in eating all those vegetables off their plate.    They are fully compliant with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) law, containing no lead. phthalates, BPA or PVC.

The set may be purchased at Constructive Eating, Inc. for $19.95 or $14.95 for the construction plate.
