The 3 day potty training method is currently the latest buzz in parenting techniques. This new method suggests letting your toddlers run around the house for 3 days without any diapers. Eventually they will get tired of making a mess in the living room and be willing to try the potty.
Apparently this new method stems from the 1 day potty training method that became popular in the 80’s. Daycare providers stopped accepting kids who weren’t potty trained, so parents quickly looked for faster methods for teaching there children. Most parents would agree that each child has his/her own way of learning. I don’t believe there’s one specific method that works across the board.
Results are yet to be determined, but so far the 3 day potting training fad is getting a good response. If you search 3 day potty training in Google you will most likely find a whole heap of E-books promising you unrealistic outcomes for potty training your toddlers. There’s really no need for purchasing these books due to the fact that most of this information is free online.
Drop us a line. We would definitely like to hear from you and find out if this potty training method really works.

We did this kind of thing with our kid. He would (and still does) run around our house naked all the time. He was potty trained just after his 2nd birthday (aside from the occasional accident). He just wanted to try the toilet. Nate

We started this and after changing him 6 times before lunch it was over. I give up. This method sucks and I don't know what to do now! :( My son doesn't even care if he's wet....he could care less.

Day one usually is just a whole lot of pee on the floor. But it does get better if you stick to a plan. But some kids do just need more time. Give your little guy a few more months and see what happens. I have tried using cloth diapers so that the wet is more uncomfortable than in a regular diaper. It took a while for my son to get uncomfortable in them even still but it did help me to be aware of how often he was actually going. I saw that he could hold it for a really long time. I then noticed a pattern developing and then would sit him on the toilet when I knew he had to go. Hope that helps!:)

I don't know of anywhere that you can get it for free. If I read her site correctly however you should be able to share the purchase with a friend. So you may find another mom to "go in" on it with you. Check it out to make sure. Have you tried your local library?

It worked for me. It was hard and there will be accidents. The author makes that very clear in the book. Accidents are part of the method actually. I think that once you start it, you just have to keep going. It actually took my son 4 days but he is doing great now :)

I did this method with my 21 month old son three years ago and it worked! We modified it a bit. We did use diapers for naps and bedtime after three days of him waking up wet. Eventually we were able to drop the diapers at nap time but we are still working on night time. We are actually on DAY 1 with our 17 month old. She may be a bit young but my oldest was 16 months when she was day and night trained so I figured what the heck! :)

I just finished day 3 with my two and a half year old daughter. At the beginning of day one she had never peed on her potty and after a few accidents she is using the potty on her own. This idea was amazing im sharing it with all the mothers i know!
