My two cents is this - wether starting your own business or applying to work for a business out of your home, you really do have to do your research. And just when you think you have done enough research - DO MORE! Double it... triple it! Not only should you pay nothing but if the contact person sells you on how easy it is, you need no brain at all to handle it and everybody makes a bundle doing it - be careful. If someone tells you somthing that doesn't ring true to you - DO question it!! This is the time to question everything - before you get in with the company. I'll confess: I consider myself a smart woman, I don't get "sucked in" to things easily - but unfortunately last year I did - the company is legit, but the business advice I got from my "very own advisor" was really, REALLY bad. I did my research and still got stung! There are great jobs out there working from home - I have one! Don't give up keep looking and researching. By the way - you can also get coaching to help you find your passion and make it your career - yes, you can! It works, AND it's fun! GREAT article!
