My daughter loves to wear bows and flowers in her hair, but buying them can get expensive.  You would be surprised and how easy it is to make a beautiful set of flower barrettes.  These can be made with nearly any artificial flower you would like.  My favorite flowers to use are daisies, mainly because they come in a wide variety of colors and sizes, along with the fact they lay down flat.

Supplies:

1. Remove the flower from the stem

2. Remove the green portion of the flower.  This will separate the flower, backing and middle

3. Apply a generous amount of glue to the clip

4. Carefully press the flower onto the clip

5. Take your middle section of the flower and cut off the stem.  You want a flat back in order to glue to the flower correctly

6. Cover the back portion with glue.  You want to have enough glue to securely hold to the flower

7. After putting this piece into the center of your flower, you are done!
