It is about time I read something positive about Kate. I am a huge fan of Kate. I believe she deals with her family wonderfully. To keep everyone organized and happy is a huge task and she happily does this for her kids and Jon. Does she handle every situation perfectly? No but who does. I admire her and believe she is an amazing role model to her children. I could say so much more. Go Kate!

So happy there are others standing up for Kate. Jon is a whiny bastard. He cheated on the marriage, not Kate. You could see him off by himself these last few months sulking. I don’t care how tough Kate is, she didn’t deserve any of this. If things are bad with your spouse, talk to them, get counseling for both of you. You made a committment and marriage is a recommittment every day of your lives. It isn’t peaches and cream people, it’s tough. We have 9 children and there were times I’d love to have killed my husband let alone divorce him, but if you love someone you just work through it all and hang tough.

I really feel badly for Kate, you could see how hard it was for her last night. And Jon sitting there saying well he’s only 32 and he’s doing what he has to do for himself. He’s proud of himself for standing up for himself. He cheated and he’s proud of himself? He’ll marry the 23 yr old bimbo or someone like her and screw that up too. Simpering idiot. You go Kate! Good luck to you.

Thank you! I’m disheartened by all the Kate-bashing. Yes, she admits that she’s been hard on Jon and regrets it but I doubt any woman who has the responsibilities she has would be able to resist being “rude” to a husband who is as whiny, weak, and passive-agressive as Jon is could do much better. I admire her perseverance in the face of all the hate while Jon gets off scott-free for his adolescent sulking and cheating.

Ok, I’m not trying to take away from the fact that she has an incredibly difficult job to do as mom to 8 kids (9, if you include Jon) but be real here – she’s often rude and dismissive, judgmental and picky. No one HAS to be a bitch to get anything done, no matter how many kids you have. I hate to put it out there, but really, I’m sure all Jon wanted was a little peace and quiet and to feel appreciated by someone, becuase clearly, Kate’s done little but undermine him on national television.

I completely agree with this – I feel bad for her getting all the crap because of her hairstyle…every woman deserves to look her best and in her mind that’s looking her best…so just let her be. And your first bullet point is spot-on.

She’s certainly proactive, and able to get things done, but I still wouldn’t want to be married to her. Too crazy for me.Then again having eight kids is super crazy. Don’t know how they do it.
