Kate Gosselin, the infamous mother of eight, is making headlines once again. This time for spanking her daughter. Pictures, taken by paparazzi, show Kate grabbing her daughter Leah by the arm and then walking off as she began to cry.
Since her breakup with husband Jon, Ms. Gosselin seems to be a lot more impatient and edgy with the kids. Some believe this type of behavior will backfire against her if she wants custody against Jon. It seems as though their marriage is having a negative affect on the kids and that should never be the case.
You have to wonder where Jon is in all this. Yes they are separated, but it doesn’t seem to make sense that Kate is with the kids all the time whereas daddy is nowhere to be found. At the end of the day, Jon and Kate should be responsible for their actions. If they know their relationship is having a negative effect on their kids they need to address their problems immediately.

Seriously people? The woman has 8 kids her husband a cheating jerk and she has risen to the challange and made a sustainable life for her children. They never have to worry about having enough food or if they can go to college. Maybe you want her to be poor so her children can graduate and then live at home while they play video games and work at McDonald's. Where is Jon? Fancing himself a single studmuffin in his designer car and clothes Kate earned the money for! Maybe she's not perfect and maybe sh'e grumpy BECAUSE SHE HAS EIGHT FRICKIN' KIDS!!!!! and maybe a lot of kid's desearve a spanking. You critics probably don't have kid's or if you do, you probably drop them off at daycare for someone else to raise while you run off to adult land!

let me correct you on this: kate didn't earn anything because of hard work. they are getting lots of money because of their kids for they wouldn't have a show right now if not for them. so the parents have not risen to any challenge at all to make a sustainable life. its their kids who work for them. so cut the crap that kate is a good mom blah blah blah. because if she's a good mom she wouldn't put her kids into such media turmoil just to give them a good life. that's not good parenting at all. and john is not a good father either. so both of them should stop doing show, learn to take responsibilty for their decision to have these many children and find a decent job and work their ass off! yes..work their ass off! this is what they want right?

I dont see her as being a monster because she spanks her kids. Everyone in society has once or twice its not abuse. Shes only a monster to me because she is to caught up with the media.

are you effing kidding me? given the same circumstances anyone would do the same. raising 8 young children and someone offers you the opportunity to document your lives, you'd take it as well. No one knew she would turn all hollywood on us or anything, but so what, i would do the same thing, from rags to riches. you would utilize every opportunity the show brings you. And as for "spanking" her child. so what. she wasn't beating her or anything. She is undergoing a lot of stress with her husband basically out of her life, left with the challenge of raising 8 children, and even in the beginning episodes, she was home iwht them all day, and has done an excellent job and i dont think its our place to judge her.

this obviously is NOT the 1st time she has spanked the child, as you can see Leah is trying to cover her backside!!! that there says she knows whats coming and its gonna hurt!!!, when the child is in fear, knowing its something that is going to hurt, and that it has happened before.... That my friends IS Abuse!!!!!

You Kristy, are effed up, if you think thats ok!!! Jon and Kate have turned out to be nothing more than a bad joke... neither one of em are good parents, and if you think that their marital problems are a reason to abuse children in any way, shape or form, then you might want to get you head checked aswell!

For goodness sake, must we judge every move these people make. The paparazzi must be loving this!!! Although I do not agree with and would never spank my children and I have 4, I don't think that she is abusing her child for doing it. If you think that it's child abuse then deal with your government and get it outlawed people! Enough of Jon and Kate and those sweet kids on the cover of every magazine. Leave them alone!! If you agree, then don't buy the magazines and turn off the TV.
