Knorr Chicken Soup imported from Israel has been recalled voluntarily by their parent company, Unilever. The Kosher chicken soup is being recalled because it contains undeclared eggs. This can be a major life threatening problem to children and adults who are allergic to eggs.

The recall is only for the Chicken Soup with Pasta packages by Knorr, all others are said to be fine. It’s always a good idea to read ingredients anyway, even when packaging claims to be without a certain ingredients. Often times, companies find it hard to keep various ingredients from mixing with other foods. This tends to be problematic for those with slight and heavy allergies.

According to FDA reports, this product was distributed nationwide, but no illnesses or deaths have been reported. It is unclear the dates in which this product has been on the shelves.
