It’s official, Jon Gosselin is back on the market!
Last night’s episode of TLC’s “Jon and Kate Plus 8” confirmed what has long been suspected, the famed parents of sextuplets and two older girls have parted ways.
After viewing the “shocking” announcement myself, I am even more convinced that Kate is an organized, straight shooter and Jon is a spineless, wishwashy child. Can I rewrite my story on “Why I Love Kate?”
I love Kate for choosing her family over her own happiness, despite what the tabloids may have you think. Kate voiced that she would stay in the marriage, but that Jon ultimately was pulling the hairplug.
Jon’s true colors showed when arguing with Kate about the placement of the children’s playhouses, which was the back story on last night’s episode. Jon, who clearly stated he would NOT be at the family home most days, INSISTED on having the playhouses placed far away from the home. Kate, on the other hand, wanted the playhouses placed close to the home, so she could keep an eye on the kids as they played. As tactfully as she could, Kate tried to point this out to Jon, who acted like a whiny child simply wanting his OWN way and not listening to reason.
Tantrum #2 came about when Kate left the playhouse construction site to prepare and feed lunch for the kids. Jon complained that Kate was simply off “having a picnic” while he worked. “I guess the kids have to eat, but whatever,” he finally relented.
Perhaps the show should have been called “Kate Plus Nine,” as she clearly is dealing with a child. Anyone interested? He’s single, ladies, and if you are into eight kids, hair plugs and hefty child support payments, he’s all yours!

[...] We’re finding a U-Pick this weekend and dressing the girls all in red so that I can avoid doing my Kate Gosselin impression and sending Chris running off with one of my young college age readers. Speaking of, KidGlue update: All the Single Ladies, Jon Gosselin is Available!!! [...]

Seriously. Jon comes off as a big baby who just wants to have time to do whatever he wants without having to deal with a family. Should've thought of that before you had that family, dude. And when he was so happy building the motorcycle because he finally had time to do "guy stuff," all I could think was, "Isn't this the same guy who they showed off in Utah snowboarding by himself while his wife was home alone with all the kids...on her birthday?" Baby.

I couldn't agree more! Jon is such a child. Kate does come off rough, but my goodness, when you have EIGHT CHILDREN, you have to have her spine and her organization in order not to die! Jon is getting the attention from a younger woman and now he is leaving behind all the responsibilities .... so sad for the children.
