I love this article. I agree with Kaneli. She KNEW she would face media scrutiny when she signed up! Being a governor did not prevent her from being a good parent. She made that choice herself. I seriously hope she does not waste her breath attempting to run for President.

Great article, Sarah. Yes, maybe the roll of governor was too much for Palin, but didnt she know that going in? And if so, why would she run for Vice President of the entire country? Some things just don't add up. Maybe she can just run for VP of Russia since she's so close by. :)

Sarah, I normally love your post but this one is stretching it a bit... I mean, Sarah Palin IS a mom and she's not abandoning those duties, is she? No. She resigned from being governor because those duties were taking away from her being a mother so your parallel to that doesn't really work. Why would you fault someone for stepping down gracefully the way that she did? She didn't have an affair, she didn't commit fraud, she didn't lie... she is simply getting brutalized by the liberal media and couldn't handle it anymore. I see nothing wrong with that.

And for the record - I am NOT a Palin supporter and I sure as heck hope that she does not have plans to run for President.

Apparently you didn't research this very well. I may not be a Palin supporter, but there are more legitimate reasons for her resignation.

I completely agree with you Sarah. I also need to take a break. From paying my bills. From paying taxes. From things that annoy me.
