Pets have a great new way to travel thanks to Pet Airways. Instead of flying in the cargo bay, dogs, cats and animals alike now have the freedom to fly the friendly skies without cages. Featured this morning’s Today Show, owner Alissa Binder and her husband Dan Wiesel decided to create their own pet airlines after feeling bad for traveling with their dog in the cargo unit last year.

It’s great that pets now have an airline they can call comfortable, but I know the cost for all this transportation must be expensive. As many pet owners as there are, it just doesn’t seem cost-effective to pay an extra $200 for your pet to fly first-class. What’s even more amazing is the emergence of pet spas and hotels. With our struggling economy, it’s amazing how people are able to keep their pets so pampered.
