Step2 Retro Diner

By Jeremy Suede on July 14th, 2009

This cool retro diner from Step2 will keep your child’s imagination going for hours.  With a kitchen on one side and a dining booth on the other you child and friends will be able to “cook” and “eat” like the real thing.  The cook can make meals on the stove (featuring sizzling and bubbling sounds) and then they can ring  up the order on the service bell.  There is some adult assembly required but a complete instruction manual is included.  It comes with an generous (54 pieces) play set that includes a griddle, pan, coffee pot, play food (burgers, fries, hot dogs, ice cream, cones, sundae fixings and pie), dishes, silverware, cups, spatula, ice cream scoop, sundae dishes, deep fryer and ketchup & mustard bottles.  To top it all off; a music-playing (batteries required) jukebox with three 50’s style tunes.  With all these accessories this play set will keep your child’s interest and keep them playing for a long time.

Step2 Retro Diner Reviews

“We purchased this for my 2yr olds birthday.  We have a 3yr old as well and they both love it.  They can sit in the booth all the time and mostly play with the ice cream.  They love to pour the coffee in my cup in the morning.  It is much smaller that I anticipated and a good choice if space is limited.  It was fairly easy to put together.  The order and pick up service from Walmart is great!” – customer review via Walmart.com

“My daughter loves this diner!!  She spends hours playing  with it everyday.  We bought it for her on her first birthday.  Six months later, she is still playing with it all the time.  No issues at all.  I clean it regularly with Clorox spray and the older kids climb all over it and it still looks like new!” – customer review via Toysrus.com
