With vast array of different flu’s going around this year the CDC has issued more vaccines and flu shots for children all across America. Due to the severity of the Swine Flu, the CDC has already listed 5 different manufacturers that will be offering the preventive medicine.

By October, the CDC hopes to have more than 160 million doses of flu shots vaccines available in the United States. This should be more than enough for all applicable customers, but getting 160 million won’t be easy.

Doctor’s are also reminding parents to teach their young ones about preventive health hygiene, including washing their hands and staying home from school when sick. The four shots the CDC will be offering nationwide are as follows: two shots for the swine flu and two more for the seasonal flu. It is unclear if your children will have to take all four, but health officials encourage consulting your child’s pediatrician for more details.
