We all know it’s a tough economy. People have been losing jobs and unemployment is at its highest since 1983. People have been losing jobs all over—management, legal assistants, lawyers, pharmacy assistants, business people, nurses, marketing professionals, PR professionals, doctors, lawyers, machinists, laborers, you name it, they’ve all lost jobs in the tough climate.
For many of these people, those jobs are not coming back. And that’s where job training comes in. There are lots of different programs to get job training by going back to school or through government programs. By going back to school, you can get trained to be a pharmacy assistant, a legal assistant (also known as a paralegal), or you can get a degree in business from an accredited four year school. There are a lot of programs available that allow you to graduate in just a couple of years and make more money once you leave your vocational training. Kaplan’s allows you to gain paralegal status online, as does Fremont College, and Herzing University. CNI college offers training for pharmacy assistants, as does SBB College.
If you want to get into business management or marketing, it might be a good idea to go to school and get a four year degree, followed by an MBA. There are many online MBA programs that you can register for to get management and marketing training so that you can get a better job in the future. Some programs include the Phoenix University, Thunderbird, and Babson. Regardless of which program you choose, you’ll get a lot of training in how to do business, management and marketing, which will be helpful with any job that you happen to land.
If you choose to go to nursing school, you might have to go to get trained in a four year college such as UCLA, the University of Washington, Georgetown or any number of other accredited universities that offer a nursing degree.
Whatever route you take with gaining access to more training for a substantial career in management, marketing, nursing, legal assistant, or just general business, you should know that there is lots of training out there, and when you lose your job, you should try and make use of it. Just think of how happy a new career in management, legal assistance, pharmacy assistant, business, nursing or marketing will make you and your family!
