Zhu Zhu Pets might just be the revolutionary pet that doesn’t need any parental supervision. The new buzz in kids toys, Zhu Zhu pets are battery operated hamsters that move around in play sets at their own discretion. It is actually really fascinating to see their real-life animal movements.

The popular pets have already come out in Phoenix, AZ and are expected to make their national debut shortly. Sold at Walmart, Toys-R-Us and Amazon.com, these hamsters might be the “Tickle Me Elmo” of the holiday season.

They are a lot of fun! I am giving away a Zhu Zhu Pet and slide on my blog this weekend. My daughter loved hers. However I think they do require parental supervision to be played with.

Like I said. I’m giving one away. http://www.deepnthought.com/archives/521 . Other than that I know that you can get them at Toys-R-Us, Walmart, and Amazon once the product is out.

Find out where you can get all the hot toys of 2009 at

Good luck and happy shopping! (personally, I think the stores will have less inventory this year due to the economy so that “hot” toys will be even harder to get — get them early while you can…)

If you’re still looking…. Don’t! Let a tracker do all the hard work. Let it tell you when and where it’s in stock :

Don’t buy on here or Ebay, wait until Wal-Mart and Toys -R-Us gets them back in stock, I am sure this will probably be a Black Friday item. I wouldn’t buy any of these over $8.00 since that is what they sell for in the stores. These people should be ashamed pf themselves, they are the ones who rush out to buy all them up them get on Amazon and Ebay and sell them for outrageous prices.

These toys will be one of the hottest toys this year. I can see how this item will end up selling on eBay for double digits as supplies come up short. You can find other top Christmas toys at http://www.topchristmastoysthisyear.com.

Bambo, I agree, I can’t stand it when people sell things like this on eBay at prices higher than they should be.

these little hampsters are the funniest things ever!!!! i bought one for my 3 yr old daughter who is obsessed with animals. i bought one for $8 at walmart just to try it out to see if i wasnted more, not knowing i would never see them in the stores again before christmas. and selling for $20 or over on ebay and amazon. but my daughter loves it and i dont have to deal with the mess or woring about her killing it. She has the ball and chases it around the house laughing up a storm.
