Each of my children have a baby book, as almost every child does. The book is updated often….at first. As your children grow older, you begin to write less and less, trying to catch up every couple months, and eventually you give up because you can’t remember any longer. I can remember to update my Facebook, but forget to write in my kid’s baby books. As you have more children, pictures and book updates become less and less frequent. Most of my youngest child’s pictures are either on my phone or uploaded to my computer, but rarely printed.
Lil’grams is a program that can help take away the guilt of not updating as often as possible. As easily as updating your Twitter status, you can update lil’grams with your child’s firsts, be it words, foods or just funny stories of things that happened. You are able to update using the lil’ grams website, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube, just to name a few.
There are currently three different price plans:
- Super $29.99/year
- Super-Duper $39.99/year
- Serendipity $49.99/3 years
Each offers a premium domain and a variety of features.
If I were expecting or had a small baby, I would definitely think about signing up for this site. I would love to be able to send a text message to update something that just happened, a first step, first word or first food. It is difficult to always pull out a big book, but I am hardly ever without my phone or laptop. I really wish this would have been around when my children were born.
Another perk? You can send updates to your friends and family. How neat is that?! Family and friends that don’t live close or you don’t talk to often can keep up with babies firsts by receiving an email letting them know as things happen.
If you are interested, lil’ grams is offering a 30-day free trial. This gives you the opportunity to try it out and see if it is something that will work for you before actually making the purchase.
To sign up, simply visit the lil’grams website.
