Let’s take Family Fun Month out with a splash! Summer means fun in the sun, and what’s more fun than playing in the water? School may have started for the kids, but the thermometer still says summer. After school, do the homework, and then get wet and wild!
Hit the beach – When was the last time you went swimming? No, I mean really swimming – at a lake or the ocean. Every kid should experience swimming without chlorine at least once in life. Let the mud squish between your toes and feel the rush of wondering if that was a fish or water plant life that just brushed against your leg.
Water bombs – With it being the end of the season, these are on sale right now – load up, fill up, and fire away!
Sprinkler – Attach it to the hose, turn it on, and run, jump, and twirl.
Water Park – As they’re heading into the back-to-school lull, many parks are offering nice discounts. Take advantage of the savings and hit the wave (pools).
Hose Wars – How far can you make the water spray? Who can make the widest water fan? How quickly can you outrun your elder sister chasing you with the water hose to dowse you? (no personal experience speaking there at all…)
Whatever you do, just make sure you have plenty of towels handy!
