Jon Gosselin will do whatever it takes to make himself feel better about the horrid situation he has put his kids in. MSNBC released an article that pertains to his interview on “Good Morning America” which will air on Friday. Gosselin blames the media for exploiting his eight children.
He acts as if he had no part in the exploitation of his children. As if he and Kate hadn’t known doing a reality show would bring the media spotlight on his family. It is ridiculous for him to completely blame the media. If he had not put his family on their own television show, they would just be like any other family. He might even still be with the mother of his children. A set of cameras following you all of the time has got to put a strain on your personal life, there is no way around it.
He can blame whomever he would like, but it is he and Kate’s doing. They put their family in jeopardy by agreeing to the show, they put their children under a microscope when they made that decision. They have set their children up for failure as far as I am concerned. As I wrote in “Reality Shows like ‘Jon & Kate’ are Creating Rebel Children“, the children are already rebelling and staging sit-ins. They aren’t even in their double digits yet, imagine when these kids are tweens and teens! They will be out of control, rebelling against everything their parents are demanding of them.
Jon can blame whomever he would like, but deep down in his heart, he knows it is his own doing. Yes the media and tabloids are following him and his family in all of their outings. The media wouldn’t care less, if they didn’t have a reality show. The media doesn’t follow me and my kids around the store, because I don’t have a show! If I were to put my kids on a show then I would understand that is part of being a celebrity. At some point Jon, man up and admit that starting the show was a mistake and try to move forward.
