I cant decide if i think that it is better that they turn to their art form to express whatever they are mad about (no matter how stupid it is) rather than slinging blows at a nightclub or through interviews or if it. its what they do and how they express themselves. At the same time I just dont understand why they would think they should lower themselves to that level. Mariah's album bombed, but Eminem seems to always be popular, but either way its weird to blatantly call someone out like that over and over again. It does seem childish to take weeks to write and record a song slamming another artist in retaliation for them slamming you. Lots of wasted energy if you ask me, but in terms of kids, I really dont think they are going to start writing rap songs slamming other kids at school, and if they do, at least they are being creative, instead of tossing them in a garbage can in the lunch room. im torn on this.
