If you have ever watched “Project Runway” you know who Tim Gunn is. He is the man that walks around, critiques everyone’s ideas and makes them doubt their entire thought process. He has an eye for fashion and knows what works and what doesn’t. Gunn has never held back his opinions or spared anyone’s feelings. But, according to The Associated Press, Tim Gunn is taking fashion mistake correction to a whole different level.
Gunn will soon be transformed into a fashion-crime fighting superhero in a comic book.
The story line is called the “Loaded Gunn” and follows him as he saves superhero clothing from villains. How far this will go, I’m not sure. Was this a good idea? I honestly don’t believe so. What’s next? Are there going to be little Tim Gunn action figures attacking improperly dressed Barbie dolls and telling Bratz dolls he is concerned with their concept and they need to “make it work”. Will this work into a video game, like ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum‘, where he will be attacking the improperly dressed and grabbing their crocs to hit them over the head? We really don’t know if it will go any further than this one comic book.
In an genre where the target audience is men and young boys, the big question is will making Gunn into a superhero attract any female readers? Chances are it won’t, unless they are already at the comic book story anyway buying them for their kids.
Regardless, the comic will be available in comic book stores on September 9.

His eye for fashion is great but this goes too far.
