The economy has affected every single American, from the President of the United States to a baby born mere seconds ago. That includes your kids. And while they might not quite understand it (“Mommy, why aren’t you at work?” “Daddy, why can’t we get new clothes for school this year?”) Nick News is going to attempt to breach the topic with your little ones.
The long running “Nick News with Linda Ellerbee” is presenting “$TRE$$ED OUT! The Economic Crisis and You” at 8 p.m. Sunday night Sept. 6 on Nickelodeon. The show will feature interviews with kids who have been directly affected by the economic crisis and tips on how to handle it. Some of the kids have parents who merely lost jobs, others have had to live through their family losing an entire business or even the homes they live in.
