During the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) on Sunday evening, a teary-eyed Taylor Swift took the stage after being announced for the Best Female Video. Taylor was in the process of giving her speech when Kanye West jumped on stage and took the microphone out her hands. Kanye proceeded to tell the audience that Beyonce had the best video of all time. The camera man zoomed in on Beyonce in the audience who was telling Kanye, “No Kanye, No.” Taylor stood on the stage in shock and was quickly rushed off the stage. What was Kanye thinking? He was escorted out and missed the rest of the awards show.
Beyonce later won the Video of the Year award. If Kanye would have been patient and watched the entire show, he would have seen that. But now, he let his emotions take over and acted like a spoiled kid that couldn’t the toy he wanted at the store. During Beyonce’s speech, she brought Taylor back on stage to give her a chance to give her speech and have her special moment. Beyonce stated she remembered the first time she won an award with Destiny’s Child and didn’t feel it was fair for Taylor not to have her moment.
Kanye later took to his blog to apologize for his bad behavior. His apology, written in all caps, was given as follows:
“I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE’S IN THE BLEACHERS! …………………… I’M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…………….. BEYONCE’S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I’M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT BUT WE WATCHIN’ THE SHOW AT THE CRIB RIGHT NOW CAUSE … WELL YOU KNOW!!!! I’M STILL HAPPY FOR TAYLOR!!!! BOOOYAAAWWWW!!!! I watched the VMAs live and was reading the outrage across Twitter and Facebook as people expressed their disgust for Kanye. Even people that don’t really like Taylor were upset with his disrespect. Celebrities that were at the VMAs were tweeting live, showing their support for Taylor:
Pink: Kanye west is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me.
Spencer Pratt: Let’s be very clear King Spencer would never do anything like what Kayne just did to a sweet soul like Taylor!

Joel Madden: WOW Taylor Swift’s first VMA and she didn’t even get to ENJOY it. Kanye You were just a bully on that one man.
Kanye’s mother must be so embarrassed! He acted like an impatient child and didn’t even get to see Beyonce win the bigger award. He did apologize, but was that more because people were outraged at his actions? Was it really heartfelt?
When my kids act or are mean to one another, of course I make them apologize, but they normally say it with attitude, like they could care less. I feel the same way about Kanye’s written apology. He apologized then goes on to say “Welcome to the real world.” My goodness. Did his mother not teach him anything?
If I were his mother, I would have sit down with him and have a heart-to-heart. He is entitled to his opinion, but there is a time and place to express that. He took Taylor’s moment away and she can never get that back. That was unfair of him. Even if he did feel Beyonce should have won, she didnt, Taylor did and him jumping on stage will not change that.
As an adult you have to know how to handle yourself in public. Kanye has shown time and time again that his comments/actions are uncalled for and inappropriate. His mother needs to sit him down and teach him about manners and respect. He needs to sit back and look at his actions, if he were just a little bit patient, he would have seen Beyonce did win….and the bigger award at that. Respect and patience are two things that are very important, and a lack there of can make you look like an idiot in front of the entire world.

I am very sure he is sorry but that still does not deny the fact that his characther is out of line. He needs prayer, he is a lost boy now, and needs some couseling from his mom's pasting.

The problem is Kanye thinks he's better than he is. When Kanye came out he was original, unique and happenin' But he hasn't put out a good song since, "Goldigger" That's quite a while ago. Why do we let these people coast? The best way to punish this cat is to stop buying his music!! And yes, he acted like a complete Ass.....!!

What a bunch of sorry teenage kids! The whole thing was staged to perfection. Taylor Swift is nothing but another actor. But, let's say that it wasn’t staged. Here is how she will get over it: - She will go to the Bahamas or Hawaii to enjoy the beaches’ and the erotic spas, relax, and have fun. - After that she will go to Milan, Italy, for shoes shopping. - Then she will drop by Paris, France, for dinner. - When she comes back home, she will find her bank account even fatter (just like you). So, while you are feeling so very sorry for Sweet Taylor, embracing her by buying more of her records and making her richer, your daddy is going to lose his job and you will find yourself without health care insurance.
