Tom_Brady2008-MDLike a redheaded stepchild Tom Brady’s first son, John, is getting the proverbial shaft.  It may not be the last time either.

The media is all abuzz with the announcement of Brady’s girlfriend, the uber gorgeous Gisele Bündchen’s, pregnancy.  When asked about his impending fatherhood, Brady told ESPN, “It couldn’t be harder than this training camp, so I’ll be prepared.”

What?!  You would think Brady would already be prepared due to the fact that he’s been a father for the last two years.  Brady’s ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan gave birth to little John Edward Thomas Moynahan in August of 2007, about nine months after Brady intentionally grounded their relationship.

While Moynahan is gracious in her discussion of attractive NFL quarterbacks, I find it hard to understand why Brady isn’t acknowledging his first child when discussing his soon to be second, and why the media is so hung up on this pregnancy.  I realize Gisele is freakishly attractive and that Brady isn’t exactly hard to look at either, so presumably their baby will also be disgustingly cute, but Bridgette Moynahan didn’t exactly fall out of the ugly tree either.

Rather than jumping aboard the media bandwagon, Brady should be recognizing his first son and reflecting on how he will welcome his new child into two separate families: that of his and Giselle and the other family he left behind.

Wow, you really need to get your facts straight before you go writing opinions about people you know nothing about. You completely took that interview out of context. First of all, he talked about his son extensively before Gisele's name even came up in the interview. And when he said "it couldn't be harder than this training camp" he was responding to a question about whether he would attend Lamaze classes with Gisele- it was obviously a joke! "find it hard to understand why the media is so hung up on this pregnancy" Did you completely forget how overblown the Bridget pregnancy was in the media? "I realize Gisele is freakishly attractive " Okay, these people are not 15 years old. My brain tells me he didn't marry Gisele soley because of how hot she is. Do you think they plan on spending the rest of their lives just staring at each other? "Brady should be recognizing his first son and reflecting on how he will welcome his new child into two separate families" Why are you giving advice to someone you don't even know? You make is seem like he couldn't care less about his son when he's actually talked about him plenty of times and visited him as often as possible whether its in LA or Vancouver where Bridget was shooting a movie. Seeing as to how we don't actually know these people or how they spend every minute of every day, isn't it possible that he's been with his son plenty of times without the media hearing about it. Did you also consider that maybe the media tries to portray Brady as an absent father to sell more magazines? Also, he did not leave a family behind...there was no family to begin with. He and Bridget were dating and on the verge of breaking up when she got pregnant. By the time they found out, he was already with Gisele- God forbid he move on with his life. Was he suppose to leave someone he's in love with to go back to a relationship that had no future just because there is a baby- only to break up years later? You have the right to express your opinion, just make sure its based on actual facts. If you're going to write about something he said in an interview- watch the interview first.

Bravo to anon @11:39. I saw the whole Brady interview on ESPN..so when I read this chicks rant I was going wtf.. On another note.. the media is obsessed with any celebs pregnancy, and when it just happens to be the worlds richest model, whom I dare say is more famous than TB, the media will be "hung up" on her til' she gives birth, no matter who the Dad is.
