Suri Cruise was spotted running errands with mommy, Katie Holmes, complete in high heels and purse in hand. She is running around town in a complete set up of sparkly silver high heels, tiered skirt and purse in hand. She is adorable, but have they gone too far? Aren’t outfits like that more for dress up? A 3-year-old allowed to walk around town in heels is a little ridiculous to me.
Don’t get me wrong, my daughter always asked to walk around in her clear princess heels. As a parent I had to tell her those types of shoes are not for outside because you can fall and get hurt. She, of course, cried, but I would rather her cry for a few minutes because she didn’t get her way than to fall and break her head open.
I sometimes wonder if celebrities use their children as accessories. They dress them up cute then take them out and about. I like for my kids to look cute when we go out in public too, but seriously, in silver shiny high heels? Are they setting up these children to be spoiled brats? I mean, if you dress them like that as toddlers, what can you expect as they get older? I know their parents have an almost unlimited amount of money, but will they appreciate it?
