“Fantastic Mr. Fox,” based on the book by the legendary Roald Dahl, has been made into a film directed by Wes Anderson (”Rushmore,” “The Royal Tenenbaums.) However, instead of simply animating the action with drawings or computers, Anderson took several years to make it a totally unique stop motion animation experience.

Featuring the voices of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson and others, this is a film that families are sure to seek out as it comes out across the country this Thanksgiving season (and REALLY enjoy – check back for a our review closer to the film’s release on Nov. 13).

Until then, check out the above featurette which gives you just a hint of the painstaking process that enabled Anderson to give this film a look all its own.

And keep checking KidGlue for more ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ videos, photos, reviews and even…INTERVIEWS, in the coming weeks.
