I used to be a Lifetime junkie myself, until my kids became old enough to realize what was on TV- won't allow my kids to watch it with me. When they wouldn't go away, I gave the TV up so that they could watch their cartoons. I now turn to novels
to support my little habit.. Love books that are about people's messed up lives, with a little bit of a romantic plot. In fact, I just finished one tonight titled, "Love Tag" by Peter Shianna. It is a wonderful little story about a 19 year old boy who sets off to find his birth parents. The uniqueness lies in the merging of the two themes—how the adoptive father’s over-protectiveness towards his son leads to a relationship with the birth mother after the son locates her, a very touching "lifetime" style book. So just remember, when the time comes that you need to give up lifetime, there are some great books out there that can give you the fix you need.

This is too funny! I completely developed a LMN addiction when my daughter was first born. She's 8 months old now, and sleeping through the night. My advice? Enjoy it! This is really the only time that (I think, at least) it's not completely embarrassing to say you are watching it...although I still "sneak" a bit here and there :)
