For fans of Miley Cyrus, which we assume includes many of your daughters, it’s hard to look at her and not see some version of “Hannah Montana.”
Well, the trailer for her new movie “The Last Song” isn’t going to change that. It’s based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks (”The Notebook”) about a young girl who goes to visit her father for the summer, rebels, and meets a boy. To me, that basically sounds like “Hannah Montana” without the wig.
But it’s romance, it’s Miley actually acting and it features all new music. As well as Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear.
So check it out here, thanks to Yahoo Movies, and let us know what you think. It’ll be released April 2 and is rated PG for thematic material, some violence, sensuality and mild language.

Is it odd that I can't wait for this girl to grow up and out of the tween/teen stuff? I think she's really very talented and could be a long-term fixture in music and movies - as long as she avoids all the young hollywood drugs/eating disorders/sextapes stuff that seems to nab some decent talent before they can mature.
