A tour bus involved in Miley Cyrus’ current tour crashed on the way to Virginia this morning. Early reports say that the driver was killed and several other people were injured.
Miley herself wasn’t on the bus and is fine.
“There were 10 people on board the bus that crashed and one is a fatality,” Virginia State Police Sgt. Thomas Molner told E! News. “One is a minor injury and that person was transported to Southside Regional Hospital in Petersburg.”
Cyrus was on a “different route” and wasn’t anywhere near the scene, but is said to be friendly with everyone on the production crew. She hasn’t yet released a statement.
The bus crashed about 45 minutes south of Richmond, VA on I-85 in Dinwiddie County. They were on their way to Greensboro, North Carolina for a concert on Sunday.
