Miley Cyrus is the epitome of tween pop culture. She is everywhere, on television, on the radio, and her products cover the shelves of every store you could imagine. Miley has surprised us in the past with some of her actions, including a stripper pole dance during her concert. She is at it again though, but this time the 17-year-old is sporting a tattoo. I thought you had to be 18 to get a tattoo? (You can see the photo here as well.)
She had to of convinced her parents to give their blessing on her tattoo, which is the words “Just Breathe” under her left breast. Her brother has stated that the family is in the works of getting matching tattoos. Isn’t that a strange way build family unity? What about a family game night, wouldn’t that be better?
What does this tattoo mean? We aren’t sure yet, but what is the Disney starlet showing our children? My 6-year-old spends hours a day pretending to be Hannah Montana and singing Miley’s songs. If she sees Miley’s tattoo, is she going to want to get one? Of course at six she couldn’t make that decision, but what type of influence is she on our children? Definitely not the wholesome girl she used to be. I know she’s growing up, but seriously, a tattoo at 17? I wonder what Disney thinks about this.

The tattoo represent her losing a close friend around 3 years ago, the quote "just beathe" is the foundations slogan type of thing.. Perezhilton.com is where you can read more about the reason for the tattoo. I think its a good idea, its not like she got one just because. Just sayin. :)
