I was re watching New Moon this weekend and totally felt the same way, so much so that I was compelled to Google it… and here’s your blog. Edward is a pinnacle of abuse, and Bella just takes it! If my boyfreind ever took the engine out of my car, watched me while I slept without my knowledge, wouldn’t let me drive, or see who I wanted to… i’d be running for the hills.

Funny how the teenagers among us thinks they are independent like Bella. That they can think for themselves and all that crap. But i dunno last time i checked you all wanna be like the popular kids in your school, do what your friends tell you to, or maybe do whatever you see on tv cuz u think its soo cool. Come on! we’ve been there, we were once teenagers like ur now. We know how things are working.

Bella is annoying, BUT you can’t honestly tell me if your boyfriend left you, you wouldn’t feel hurt or sad??!! If we are supposed to be “fine” without a partner than why the hell do you have a boyfriend? You are contradicting yourself aren’t we?

I think that Katelyn is right. Everyone talks about how all teenagers are so naieve and stupid. But thats not true! We know the diffrence we know the diffrence between real and fake. I absolutley love the Twiligh saga but i know in all reality that this is not real life and so do most other teenagers.

i have to agree, bella just seems so whiney and needy. who would want to look up to someone like that? certianly not me. so she’s telling us teens that if we want someone to show up we need to do something wreckless and dangerous? yeah okay…i’ll just go throw myself off a cliff to get the guy i like to care. ha not.

I think that’s not true. Most of the girls who read/watch Twilight are, like me, teenagers.
We’re not as stupid as you make us out to be.
We understand the difference between Bella & Edwards love and how he leaves her and our own petty little high school flings.
We can think for ourselves.

So true! Bella does nothing but whine and obsess over her flaws in comparison to her ‘perfect’ boyfriend. She is the single-handedly worst heroine (if thats even what you call her) in literature. What about the Hermione Grangers? Elizabeth Bennets? Why couldn’t Bella be strong and independant?
Terrible role model. Period.
