CrinkleCookies-MDMy 5 year-old doesn’t really eat sweets.  He likes to help me make cookies and pies and cakes, but he rarely helps me eat them.  This is the one cookie that he always gobbles up.  And they are so quick and easy.  No one will ever guess that you only need 4 ingredients.  One thing to take into consideration is their shelf life.  Because they are so chewy, they only last a couple of days in an airtight container before getting brittle.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of cake mix, make sure that there is no pudding added
  • 1 12-oz container of Cool Whip
  • 1 egg
  • powdered sugar for rolling

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Mix cake mix, Cool Whip and egg together in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour powdered sugar into a shallow bowl.
  4. Roll tablespoon-sized balls of dough in the powdered sugar.
  5. Place balls of dough about 2  inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
