the movie was stigmatized why did the setting have to be in louissiana, yes it was a nice change to see a black princess but she could have been living in new york or L.A. or D.C. the voodoo was to much and this whole spin on the princess and the frog showed the box in which the writers imaginations span lies ,but they are commended an their effort for the change in race of the main characters: it was a breath of fresh air

I am 63 and I paid for the movie on cox demand channel for my 3 great grandchildren last night and believe me it was the hit of the evening, for the kids as well as my self. It was the greatest babysitting moment in history. We clapped and danced to the music and had a great time. Was just like going to the movies but much more comfortable. By the way the kids are 7,4,and 3. The best movie I have seen in a very long time. I watched it 3 times. Now I am going to buy it and add it to my collection.

I’m a fairly new mom to my 15 month old and let me tell you that this movie/dvd gets played ATLEAST once a week. I think I love it a tad bit more than her. The music is on point and the fact that we finally have a black princess is priceless. This is a movie my daughter can enjoy and see folks that look like her. Amen!
