And you thought the only craft your hands were good for was turkeys. This is a quick and fun way to turn your child’s hands and feet into cute reindeer! (And more, check out last year’s story here.)
Materials:
- Brown construction paper
- White construction paper
- Red construction paper
- safety scissors
- glue
- black marker
Directions:
Trace your child’s foot and both hands on brown construction paper. With scissors, cut out the tracings. Glue hand cutouts to the back of the foot cutout to make “antlers.”
Cut a small red circle of paper out for a nose, and two white circles for eyes. Use a black marker to color in eyes and draw a smile on your reindeer’s face. Watching “Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer,” eating gingerbread men and sipping eggnog while crafting is optional, but highly suggested.
