The number one family show in America, “American Idol,” starts its ninth season Tuesday night and for the show’s most popular personality, it will be his last.
Simon Cowell announced Monday that he will be leaving “American Idol” after this season to work on a new show called “The X-Factor” in 2011.
Where does that leave “Idol” next year? With Randy, Kara and Ellen? That doesn’t sound fun. It’s just not “Idol” without Simon.
