6:oo – Star Wars Tech (History) – Could lightsabers, armies of clones, and the Death Star actually be possible? The technology of the Star Wars saga is put to the scientific test.

7:oo – Mythbusters – Superhero Hour (Discovery) – Comic-book fans can see if their favorite superhero myths work out in the end.

6:oo – Explorer – Lost Cities of the Amazon (National Geographic) – According to new evidence, there may have been an indigenous civilization thriving in the Amazon rain forest 500 years ago.

Wednesday, January 27 -

5:oo – Most Extreme – Diggers (Animal Planet) – Meerkats, termites, woodpeckers, and the other top 10 animal excavators are explored.

Thursday, January 28 -

8:oo – Hatching Pete (Disney) – Pete is invisible and shy as a student, but a hit as the school’s mascot. Too bad his best friend who used to be the mascot is getting all the attention because everybody thinks he’s still the chicken.

Saturday, January 30 -

9:oo – Rudy (Country Music Television) (video at top) – (PG) Rudy is obsessed with playing football for Notre Dame. Trouble is he’s short and nobody takes him seriously. Gather the family and watch this great fact-based movie, then talk about dreams and determination together.
