Amateur athletics, especially at a very young age, aren’t so much about winning and losing as they are teaching sportsmanship.
So it’s kind of disheartening, and admittedly a tad bit funny, to see the above video. It’s of a bunch of nine year olds in Russia getting into a HUGE brawl during a hockey game. According to The Huffington Post, the above resulted in over 700 penalty minutes so who knows how the finished the rest of the game.
This is a far cry from this awesome, amateur hockey video, which is by someone who is the same age.
