Disney has released the trailer for “The Last Song” movie, which is scheduled to hit theaters on April 2, 2010. This movie is about a 17-year-old girl (played by Miley Cyrus) who’s life goes topsy-turvy after her parents get a divorce and her father moves from the Big Apple to rural Georgia. After a few years her mother decides to ship her off to her father’s place for the summer. So take a troubled teen and exit the big city, introducing her to the quiet life of a beach town and an artistic father and that’s the recipe for this flick.
As you can see from the trailer, this excursion into the rural life leads to the one cure for teenage angst, first love. It should prove to be a very interesting movie, watching the troubled teen experience some of life’s greatest summertime adventures while she’s with her father, as well as the bonding that appears to take place between the two.
In the event that the movie is a total flop (which is doubtful given that it’s a Disney production with Miley Cyrus), at least it will provide Cyrus a chance to endear herself to parents once again, who may have developed some issues with her after her latest escapades.
