What’s the perfect “American Idol” Audition Accessory? An adorable eight year old, apparently. Tori Kelly has a beautiful voice, but her Golden Ticket was the judge’s love for her tiny cohort, Hope.

Before Tori started to sing John Meyer’s “Gravity,” Hope brought each judge a crayon portrait.  Hope is determined to be an idol contestant herself on day.  She’s counting on “Idol” being on the air for another eight years so that she can make the minimum age.

While Hope clearly charmed most of the judges, putting them in a good mood to be kind to Tori’s audition – she may have overshadowed Tori with Simon.  Simon maintained that, of the two of them, he’d put Hope through to Hollywood before Tori. Over ruled by his fellow judges, Cowell just shook his head as Tori Kelly received her Golden Ticket.  Will he be proved right? Will Tori go on to success in the show? Stay tuned and find out!
