Giuliano Stroe, World’s Strongest Boy, Sets New Record

By Bridget Tyler on March 1st, 2010

If you want to feel bad about the state of your abs, all you have to do is check out Giuliano Stroe’s perfect six pack.  At five year’s old, Giuliano’s is more chiseled than most of us can ever dream of being.  He’s been training with his Romanian gymnast father since the age of two, which earned him the title of World’s Strongest Boy and has already scored him two world records.

This latest record, “most air push-ups,” was set on an Italian TV show.  He did 20 of the incredibly difficult push ups, called “air push-ups” because they involve raising and lowering your body in plank position with only your hands ever touching the ground.  His first record, fastest time for walking thirty feet on his hands with a weighted ball between his legs, was performed last year.

Giuliano’s dad, Iulian, says that “he has been going to the gym with me ever since he was born.” I always took him with me when I was training.  But he’s still only a child and if he gets tired or bored we go and play.”
