Rubber-faced comedic actor Jim Carrey — lately of the under-seen 3D movie “A Christmas Carol” — announced on his Twitterfeed that he is a first-time grandfather. “Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of Calfornia dynomite looks like! %^>” he wrote (typo his, not ours), and included the photo you see here.
The baby is the first child of Carrey’s daughter Jane Erin and her husband Alex Santana, a musician with the group Blood Money. The baby is said to be healthy and doing well, no birth complications reported.
What kind of grandfather do you think Jim Carrey will make? Will he be the goofy, lovable grandpa who resembles the manic characters he plays on-screen?
