Luann Haley: Totally Inappropriate or Just Plain Funny?

Luann Haley is kicking herself after her somewhat spicy comments to President Obama came under fire this week.

Here’s the story: Obama was visiting a local wing restaurant in Cheektowaga, Buffalo where the 45-year-old Luann was lucky enough to bump into him. Now, imagine for a moment that you’re meeting the President. Picture it.

Would the first words out of your mouth allude to Mr. President’s physique? Probably not, for most people. Well, evidently, Luann Haley isn’t most people. Upon meeting Obama, Luann stated, “You’re a hottie with a smokin’ little body”.

Yes, you read that right. She told the President of the United States of America that he is a hottie. With a smokin’ body. Like the graceful gentleman he is, Obama composed himself and gave Luann a hug — and joked that his wife Michelle would be watching. But Luann had more to say!

“That’s right Michelle, eat your heart out!’ she cried as she faced the cameras.

Luann now admits that she’s embarrassed by her behavior, telling the New York Post, “I feel like a total jerk. I’m just hoping it doesn’t get to the president’s wife. It is a funny thing, but I’m catching some hell.”

Hell indeed, Luan Haley! Didn’t your mother teach you better manners?

I think it’s hilarious that she that to him. Hey, why not. He may be the president but he’s still a human being – and a hot one at that! I think most people will read the story and laugh a little but I’d like to see how the story would change if she were a hot 20-year-old commenting on the President’s physique! He would definitely be in trouble then!

Sure, it’s a funny news story, but really I think her comments were terribly disrespectful to the President and his wife. ALl joking aside, this woman should know better, and god forbid if any kids take their manner cues from this woman!

It was meant to be funny, and the President took at as just that……at this point of our economic turmoil and the President being a personable human being, it was just small town humor, meant in a jokingly manner….if we can not joke with our government leaders, how do we expect them to treat us like human beings? What would happen if for once, people remembered that the President is just a human being like the rest of us, why put him on a pedestal? Congrats to her for making a joke…..now if the rest of us could just take it…..

How dare she say that to our heavenly Lord Obama, rest his soul. This man, nay, this GOD, is the greatest gift our nation has ever received. Only a GOD can claim inane news bits such as this to his glorious title. Here’s hoping Lord Obama a blessed term, maybe those America-hating Republicans will just go away!

I was there, Luann is a friend and coworker of mine and she is an AMAZING woman. It’s the press that should be ashamed of themselves. How about writing about why he really came to Buffalo. Amazing wings of course )

Totally disrespectful and inappropriate. He is the president of the United States and has a wife and children. He was a gentleman about it but she SURE WAS NO LADY. And as OLD as she is she is she should know better. Even if you don’t respect the President respect the office he represents. He’s not the Jonas Brothers. Man she needs to grow up. She’s also very unattractive and her comment about wrecking Obama’s home is the funniest thing she said since she’d never have the chance! I’m glad she’s getting negative attention. I was appalled when I saw this story batted about as “funny”. What’s wrong with you people. First of all Obama wasn’t there to flirt or joke with her about private body parts or appearance he was there on PUBLIC govt business. And if somebody perceived Obama as saying something inappropriate you’d never hear the last of it-like the pic where people swore he was ogling a girl he wasn’t even looking at! Keep it respectful please lady, you’d look more attractive. Right now you look and sound like an old nasty woman.

Please, this was just funny. That Luann Haley is an avowed Republican, too, just goes to show the rest of America where the best of our bipartisan spirit is and has always been: in a wing house with a good, dirty joke.
