A baseball game just isn’t a baseball game if you can’t enjoy it with a beer, right? Well, the young boy in the video below seems to agree, as he chugs back a brew like he’s been drinking for years.
The clip is short (only 6 seconds long) and was taken during the Phillies game this week. It appears the boy’s parents are unaware that he’s drinking their beer as picks up the bottle, tips it upwards and takes it back like a champ.
After the video of the toddler smoking hit the internet a few weeks back, the question of what’s deemed acceptable parenting has become quite a popular one.
Most of us (hopefully all of us) would agree that a toddler smoking is simply unacceptable. But is a child (the boy looks to be about 4 or 5 in our opinion) taking a sip of their parents beer really that outrageous?
Some who’ve seen the video insist the beer bottle is empty but it looks like it has liquid in it to us.
So here’s what we think:
Is this an example of the best parenting in the world? No. Is it going to harm the child in any immediate way? Probably not. Is it mildly amusing to watch? Absolutely.
This video brings the term “weaning a child off the bottle” to a whole new level.
What do you think: Is letting your child have a sip of beer acceptable?
