Just when you think the world has forgotten about the horrific footage of the smoking toddler, the chain-smoking 3-year-old returns to television to show off his ability to light and smoke a cigarette.
New footage from the Early Show shows Oldie lighting a cigarette with a lighter and even using one cigarette to light another.
“It was his wish,” his parents said, revealing that Oldie gets very fussy if he doesn’t get his fix. The toddler is now smoking a pack a day.
“What can we do but accept it as it is,” they finish.
The family lives in Indonesia, which is now providing a rehabilitation program for Oldie.
As long as the parents allow their child to smoke every time he throws a fit, the toddler is going to keep smoking. It’s a form of child abuse, if you ask us.
Yes, the community should be providing rehabilitation programs but the parents have to take some responsibility for their child’s actions as well.
If he picked up a gun and started shooting people, would you let him do that to?
It’s called discipline and Oldie’s parents could use a lesson.
