Justin Bieber may be the single most popular 16-year-old in the world but that doesn’t mean he’s going to get frisky with every girl who throws her panties at him on stage.
Rumors that the young pop star is gay have been circulating the Internet since Biebs hit the scene but his mother is quick to jump to his defense, insisting he’s simply just a sweetheart:
“He’s expressed his desire to stay pure, and honor women, and treat women with respect, so hopefully that will continue” she says in an interview. How cute?
Justin also revealed the reasons behind his hesitation to jump into anything serious:
“It’s definitely hard to find, like, a girl that really likes me for me,” says Bieber.
Just because the teen heartthrob isn’t ready to settle down doesn’t mean he’s gay, but so what if he was? Does it really matter?
These rumors need to be put to rest. It’s time to start focusing more on Justin Bieber’s talents and less on his sexual preferences. He’s 16 – he has plenty of time for dating.
